Day 28
Today we are looking at the truth that God is our Redeemer. This truth means: 1. God stepped into our story; 2. He paid the price we couldn’t pay; 3. He rescued us; 4. He gave us a new identity, and 5. He is still restoring what’s been lost or broken. Let’s spend some time unpacking what these truths mean for us today.
Today’s Passage: Genesis 1:27
”Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us…”
Isaiah 43:1
“Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine.”
Reflect: In your own words, what does redemption mean? How have you seen God’s redemption show up in your own story? Have you surrendered your life completely to God? If yes, what did that look like? If not, what is holding you back?
Pray: Thank God for his redeeming work, and surrender the areas where you’re still hoping to see redemption.
