Day 65
Listen to Today’s Reading:
What does true love look like? We can sometimes get confused about what it means to love someone. God tells us that love comes from God and that we should love others because Christ first loved us. But practically speaking, how do we do that? How do we love like Jesus does?
Here’s a great passage that spells out what true love looks like.
Today’s Passage: 1 Corinthians 13:4–8
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails."
Reflect: Write down the names of the people you love, and then write the key actions from today’s verse. How are you doing? Where can you improve? What would need to change in you for you to be able to love others like Jesus loves you?
Pray: Pray for the people you love. Ask God to help you grow so that you can show love to others in more and more practical ways.
