Listen to Today’s Reading:

How do I have courage when I’m afraid? We’ve all been there, right? We’re facing something big, overwhelming, or scary. But we have to find the courage to face it. We have to find the courage to do the right thing. Maybe you know what you need to do—but you need the courage to do it. Here’s where you find it.

Today’s Passage: Joshua 1:9

"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Reflect: The reason you can have courage is because you can be certain that God is with you. When you are taking a stand and doing what you know God wants you to do—what you know is right—you are not doing it alone. Your God—who loves you, who is over all things, who is all-powerful—is with you.

Pray: Pray today about that big step you need to take. Ask God to be with you in it and to give you the courage to do the right thing.
