Day 63

Listen to Today’s Reading:

What do you do when it feels like someone is out to get you? Maybe you’re dealing with a bully or a jerk who is always on your case, spreading rumors about you or trying to take you down. Bullying can be hurtful, so never hesitate to tell your parents or an adult you trust if you need help with a situation. Whenever I am feeling attacked, I call to mind this verse from Hebrews. It helps me remember that God is bigger than any bully, any rumor, or anyone who would try to harm me.

Today’s Passage: Hebrews 13:6

So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?”

Reflect: Take a few minutes and think about how you’re feeling about the situation. Or maybe it’s not you but a friend or sibling who is feeling attacked. How can you remember that God is your helper? He is bigger and stronger and more powerful than any mere mortal.

Pray: Talk to God about the situation and ask him for help. Find peace in him and know that he will help you overcome the situation.
