Day 56

Listen to Today’s Reading:

Are you confident that God will help you? I know it can be hard to believe that our big God, who is sovereign over the world and loves all the people, is available to hear from us and help us. The Bible tells us often that God wants us to come to him with confidence and to ask for what we need. We can go to him for anything, and we don’t have to be afraid to ask.

Today’s Passage: Hebrews 4:16

"Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need."

Reflect: What do you need today? What are you asking and needing God to help you with? Where have you messed up, where are you feeling overwhelmed, and where do you need his grace and support? Spend some time today journaling about something you want to bring to God, and then approach your prayers with confidence.

Pray: Pray confidently today and ask God for what you need. It could be help, support, wisdom, forgiveness, mercy, or love. He is there for you.
