Day 46
Listen to Today’s Reading:
Have you ever felt personally attacked? When it seems like people or circumstances are against you, it’s easy to feel afraid and worried. I think we’ve all experienced this. If we’re not careful we can lose our confidence in how to overcome and get through.
Today’s Passage: Psalm 27:1–3
"The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked advance against me to devour me, it is my enemies and my foes who will stumble and fall. Though an army besieges me, my heart will not fear; though war breaks out against me, even then I will be confident."
Reflect: If you are feeling anxious or afraid right now, I encourage you to remember that the God who loves you and saves you is with you in the middle of your situation. He will help you. You can be confident in the fact that God is bigger than whatever you are facing.
Pray: Tell God what you are facing and why you are worried or fearful. Ask him to give you the confidence and comfort that he is walking through it all with you.
