Day 47

Listen to Today’s Reading:

What makes you special? Sometimes we can think about ourselves in a negative light. We might see our flaws or weaknesses. We might think we are just like everyone else. Here’s what I want you to know today: You have been chosen by God. You are important to him. He loved you so much that he gave his Son, Jesus, for you. God wants good things for you.

Today’s Passage: 1 Peter 2:9

"But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light."

Reflect: Read this verse again. Think about the way God thinks about you. You are chosen. You are valuable. You belong to God. He cares enough about you to want you to live your life in the light.

Pray: Talk to God and ask him to help you see yourself the way he sees you.
