Day 41

Listen to Today’s Reading:

Have you ever been in a season of life where everything was going wrong? You didn’t make the team. Your mom or dad lost their job. Your close friend was sick. There have been times in my life when it felt like the bad news just kept coming.

Today’s Passage: Romans 8:28

"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose."

Reflect: This verse isn’t a promise that all the things we go through will always be good. This is God telling us that he can use the good times, the big opportunities, the tough times, the failures, and the things that are out of our control all for our good. We might come through it stronger, wiser, and more loving. Our relationships might be better. I don’t know exactly what it will look like, but I’m so glad that nothing in our lives is wasted.

Pray: Take a minute today and tell God about what you’re going through. Ask him to use it in your life to help you grow.
