Day 38

Listen to Today’s Reading:

Have you ever walked through an extremely challenging time? Have you watched someone you love walk through a challenging time? When things are going wrong in our lives, it can be easy to lose hope and to feel like you can’t recover. But God is bigger than any problem that we face, and he wants us to know that there is hope in the middle of pain, struggles, and problems.

Today’s Passage: Romans 8:28 

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

Reflect: Even though things seem very difficult right now, God promises to use everything in our life for good. Maybe he will use it to help us grow stronger. Maybe he will use it to give us wisdom and insight for the future. Maybe he will use it to shape us into a more caring person. I don’t know exactly how God will use your struggles, but he promises that he will.

Pray: Pray this week and talk to God about what you—or someone you love—is walking through. Ask him to help you see where he is working and use it for your good.
