Day 37
Listen to Today’s Reading:
Do you pray for your friends? God invites our prayers, he listens to our prayers, and he cares about our friends. There have been times in my life where I have asked all of my friends to pray for me. And I will tell you that your small group leaders and the friends in your small group pray for you. They lift you up to God and ask him to do good things for you.
In the book of Colossians, Paul and Timothy write to their friends and let them know that they are praying for them.
Today’s Passage: Colossians 1:9
For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives.
Reflect: Take a few minutes and write down the names of some of your friends. List out some of the friends in your small group. Then write out some of the hopes and prayers you have for them.
Pray: Stop and pray for your friends today. Lift them up and ask God for good things for them.
