Day 35
Listen to Today’s Reading:
Do you know one of the most important verses in the Bible? This is a verse that I learned a long time ago. You should write it out and try to learn it. The reason this verse is so important is because it tells us the good news of what Jesus did for us. It explains how much God loved us and the sacrifice he made by sending his son, Jesus, to die on the cross for us. Ultimately it offers all of us, the whole world, the gift of salvation.
Today’s Passage: John 3:16–18
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”
Reflect: If you have never prayed to receive Jesus as your Savior, please read these verses a few times and consider all that Jesus is offering you. If you have already put your faith in Jesus, then take some time to reflect and remember the incredible gift of salvation he has given you.
Pray: Pray and thank God for his unconditional love for you. Thank him for sending Jesus and so that we can have a relationship with him.
