Day 33
Listen to Today’s Reading:
As a follower of Jesus, what has he commanded you to do? There are a handful of times in the Bible when Jesus tells us exactly what he wants us to do. At the very end of his time on earth, he gathered the disciples around him and told them to go and share the message of Jesus all over the world. And his command to the disciples all of those years ago is still the same command he has for us today.
We call it the Great Commission.
Today’s Passage: Matthew 28:19–20
"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, "teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."
Reflect: Take a few minutes to think of how you are sharing with others all that Jesus has done for us. How are you helping others grow in their relationship with him? How are you spreading the message of Jesus to your friends? Your school?
Pray: Pray and ask God to show you where to start. Ask him to help you see one or two people who need to know Jesus and look for ways to spread the message.
