Day 24

It can be really frustrating when we feel like the people around us are changing. It can also be really discouraging when we find ourselves changing in ways we don’t want to. Today we are looking at the truth that though people change, our God remains the same. 

Today’s Passage: Malachi 3:6-7
“I the Lord do not change. So you, the descendants of Jacob, are not destroyed. Ever since the time of your ancestors you have turned away from my decrees and have not kept them. Return to me, and I will return to you,” says the Lord Almighty.

Reflect: Can you think of a time when someone let you down because they changed? How does knowing that God never changes make you feel? Does it bring you peace, or do you feel indifferent? How does God’s unchanging nature positively impact your life?

Pray: Thank God that, in all the uncertainty of life, he is unchanging.
