Day 23

God being all-knowing can be another attribute that feels distant and confusing. However, today we are exploring how his thoughts, knowledge, comprehension, and intentions are far above our own. This means we do not have to fear, worry, or try to figure everything out because we have access to this all-knowing God.

Today’s Passage: Isaiah 55:8-9
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”

Reflect: What does it mean that God is all-knowing? What does that mean for you specifically? When was the last time you were tempted to believe that God was letting you down? How does his all-knowing nature change the way you view that situation? 

Pray: Ask God to help you trust him even when you are worried and tempted to believe that he is not coming through for you.
