Day 59

Listen to Today’s Reading:

Do you stand out from the crowd? When we choose to follow Jesus, the people around us should see something different in us. We should stand out. The Bible tells us that God chose us, he loves us, and he calls us to treat the people around us with compassion and kindness. 

Today’s Passage: Colossians 3:12

 “Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.”

Reflect: Spend some time evaluating yourself today. Highlight the action words above and ask yourself, Am I compassionate toward others? Am I humble? Am I patient with the people who annoy or frustrate me? Where could I improve? Challenge yourself to treat people the way Jesus does, and you’ll stand out from the crowd.

Pray: Making real change is not possible on your own. Pray today and ask God to help you in the areas where you need to grow and improve.
