Day 30

Listen to Today’s Reading:

What does it mean to be faithful? I’ve been a Christian for a while, and I am still growing in my ability to serve God and to stand strong in my faith. I can get focused on my own work and chasing after my own desires. I can also make excuses for why I can’t serve others or sacrifice my own time to do God’s work. It’s easy to get distracted, become inconsistent, and drop the ball.

Today’s Passage: 1 Corinthians 15:58    

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

Reflect: What does serving God look like for you? Think about the opportunities you have to serve your family, your neighbors, your friends, and at church. God promises that the work you do for him is important.

Pray: Ask God to show you where you can serve and to give you the strength to serve faithfully for him.
