Day 25
Listen to Today’s Reading:
When you think about worshiping God, what comes to mind? Do you think about singing? I love to gather with my friends at InsideOut and worship and sing together. But Paul tells us in Romans that worship is more than that. It’s a way of life!
Today’s Passage: Romans 12:1–2
Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
Reflect: What does it look like to worship God with your everyday life? You see, the world is trying to get you to conform to a godless way of living, but truly worshiping God with your life means that you allow him to transform every aspect.
So how has God influenced your relationships? How does following him impact your home, your family, your time at school, your thoughts, and your behaviors? Do you see the transforming work of God in your life?
Pray: Spend some time talking to God about every part of your life. Invite him in and learn to live a life full of worship.
