Day 11

Listen to Today’s Reading:

Have you ever felt trapped by something, and you couldn’t get free? Maybe you’re holding onto bitterness because someone has hurt you. Maybe you’re struggling with an addiction, and it has a hold on you. We all know what it feels like to battle against something in life. 

If you have put your faith and trust in Jesus, then the Holy Spirit lives in you.

Today’s Passage: 2 Corinthians 3:17

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 

This means that Jesus is your deliverer. He fights with you and for you. He will help you overcome and win the battle. When the Spirit lives in you, there is freedom.

Reflect: What are you struggling with? What have you been doing to overcome it?

Pray: Tell God what you’re struggling with. Tell him how hard you are fighting and ask him to fight with you and deliver you.
