Day 7
“Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God.”
Worship can take a lot of different forms. Songs and music often come to mind as ways of praising God, but we can also give praise to God every day with the way we live our lives. This verse gives us a great place to start—we can praise God by accepting other people. That’s it! Accept one another in the way Christ accepts all of us. When we love, accept, and embrace other people—all people—we are giving praise to the God who created them.
Is there someone in your life you’ve been struggling to accept or embrace? Do you know someone who could use a friend? This week, try to get to know that person. Remember that reaching out to people is another way to worship God.
