Day 6
“For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”
Think about this…you go to a restaurant to eat and to the gym to work out. You go to a shoe store to buy shoes and to a friend’s house to watch a football game. We go to specific places for specific reasons.
Jesus came to Earth for a specific reason: to seek and save the lost. This means that he wanted a way for all of us to be close to him again. If that was God’s motivation for sending Jesus, shouldn’t it motivate us to follow Jesus? Many of us know friends, family members, teammates, or even people in our church who are struggling—people who are lost. And as believers in Jesus, we have access to the one who can help them—the one who can save them. How would your life look different if you were motivated to share the message of Jesus with those who are hurting and lost? This week, find a way to share that message and hope with someone in your life who needs it.
