Day 21
Today we’re looking at the story of a woman named Hagar to explore an often forgotten truth: God sees us. He sees us at our lowest and in our moments of strength. He sees what you’re walking through, he cares deeply, and he’s with you every step of the way. Our God is the God who sees.
Today’s Passage: Genesis 16:13
She gave this name to the Lord who spoke to her. “You are the God who sees me,” for she said, “I have now seen the One who sees me.”
Reflect: What stuck out to you in the story of Hagar? When was a time you felt unseen by the people around you? In what situation do you need to be reminded that God sees you and meets you exactly where you are?
Pray: Thank God that he sees you. Ask him to remind you, especially when you are in the lowest moments, that he is there.
