Day 2
God is near. Whether you are someone who hates being alone or someone actively running from God, the truth remains: God is near to you, available to you, and wants to hear from you. That truth brings comfort, reassurance, and peace into your everyday life.
Today’s Passage: Psalm 139:7-10”
Where can I go from your Spirit?
Where can I flee from your presence?
If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
if I settle on the far side of the sea,
even there your hand will guide me,
your right hand will hold me fast.”
Reflect: Is the reality that God is always with you something that brings you peace or something that makes you feel uneasy? Why? Think back to a time in your life where you saw how God was near to you even if you didn’t recognize it in the moment.
Pray: Thank God that he is near to you. Ask him to bring to your mind throughout your day that he is always there.
