Day 27

Listen to Today’s Reading:

How do you follow Jesus in your everyday life? I’ve found that if I keep some simple daily practices in my life, it allows me to stay connected with Jesus throughout my day. I say the word practice because when I am intentional to do these things everyday, they become a habit that shapes me.

Today’s Passage: 1 Thessalonians 5:16–18   

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.   

Reflect: You can rejoice always by looking for opportunities to praise and celebrate God at work around you. You can talk to him throughout your day and seek his wisdom and comfort. And you can express gratitude for who he is and what he has done for you.

Take a few minutes and celebrate something God has done and thank him.

Pray: Pray and ask God to show you his presence all throughout your day.
