Day 19

In John 19, Jesus was mocked, beaten, and eventually crucified, yet he willingly endured it all because of his love for us. When Jesus said, “It is finished,” he declared that the price for sin had been fully paid. The cross proves that you are deeply loved and completely forgiven through him. Because of what Jesus did, we don’t have to keep searching for approval or carrying shame anymore. We are no longer defined by our sins and our mistakes. His sacrifice gives us new life and a new identity. We are loved, forgiven, redeemed sons and daughters of God!

Prayer
Jesus, thank you for loving me enough to die for me. Help me live confidently in your grace and never lose sight of what you did on the cross.
